Letter from the Editors
Dear Reader,
Each year, Embodied evolves alongside the voices, images, and ideas that define it. If last year marked a reflection on legacy, this year is about opening doors toward risk, reinvention, and deeper conversation.
Growth is not a matter of leaving the past behind, but of honoring what has been while daring ourselves to add new perspectives and new ways of reaching our community. Embodied thrives because of those who entrust us with their words and images. This year, we recommit to amplifying that trust by seeking the unexpected, welcoming vulnerability, and celebrating the many ways body, mind, and spirit can take shape on the page.
We are excited to introduce a zine to be published at the end of the fall semester. This new format allows us to experiment in a more immediate, playful register while still sustaining our online and print presence.
In an age when quick takes often overshadow reflection, our commitment is to spaciousness. To hold space for work that mirrors the moment and expand it. Our purpose is not to chase trends, but to cultivate something lasting: a magazine that feels intelligent, resonant, and alive.
This year is not only a continuation of the past, but a constellation of the present. It is an ever-shifting form shaped by our readers, contributors, and the communities that shape our pages.
With gratitude and excitement,
Evelyn Feldman, Editor-in-Chief
